Want to learn more about this charitable race? Here’s your guide to everything you need to know about the Howloween 5K and Dog Walk.

What You Need to Know about the Race

The 3rd Annual Howloween 5K and Dog Walk will take place on Saturday October 28th at Parkside Place Park in North Wales, PA. The 5K race kicks off at 9 AM, and the one-mile dog walk will take place at 11 AM. For both races, people of all ages, as well as dogs of all types, are welcome to register and join in on all the fun.

Want a bit of motivation to help you cross the finish line? Awards will be given out to the top male and female overall winners. The top three male and female winners in each age bracket will also receive an award. And since this event is all about the dogs, the first three pups to cross the finish line will win a prize, too.

Fun and Festive for Everyone

There’s more to love about this event than just the races. To help you get into the Halloween spirit, all attendees and dogs are welcome to head over to the Howloween 5K and Dog Walk in costume! The best humans and dogs with the best costumes will be in the running for great prizes at the Fall Festival following the race!

On top of festive costumes and prizes, the Fall Festival will be full of fun-filled activities for all ages. There will also be tons of food from local eateries and more than 50 vendors, so you can get a head start on your holiday shopping.

All for an Amazing Cause

The Howloween 5K and Dog Walk is really all about the local pups in need. All proceeds from the 5K and the Fall Festival will benefit Home at Last Dog Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving homeless dogs from high-kill shelters. They also work to find loving forever homes for dogs that have been surrendered by their owners.

They pull dogs from various shelters and provide them with caring foster homes until they are adopted. Home at Last Dog Rescue is a 100% volunteer organization and all adoption fees as well as proceeds from this event will go towards shelter pull fees, vet care, supplies, and other expenses that will help local dogs find the loving forever homes they deserve.
