Whether you simply want the added convenience of navigation, or you’re an enthusiast looking for a vehicle with all the available advanced features, Acura has an RLX for you.

Take a look at all the upgrades you can get when you move up from the MSRP $48,450 base model 2014 Acura RLX:

2014 RLX packages:

The Navigation Package (MSRP $50,950):

Acura’s navigation system adds an eight inch high-resolution screen above the standard multi-use display. Using screen or voice-activated controls, you can easily find and plan a route to your destination—and see it in real-time 3d on the bright screen. Options include traffic monitoring that can route you around heavy traffic and restaurant reviews.

The Technology Package (MSRP $54,450):

In addition to everything included in the Navigation Package, the Technology Package adds a premium audio system with 14 speakers, leather-trimmed sports seats and 19″ wheels. It also includes the innovative AcuraLink system, which allows you to:

unlock your RDX with your phone and transfer locations to the navigation system, track your RDX if it’s stolen and AcuraLink will send out a distress notification to emergency services if the airbag deploys. With an added yearly subscription cost, you can have the convenience of a personal concierge and check the tire pressure and fuel levels from your phone or personal computer.

The Krell Audio Package (MSRP $56,950):

For audiophiles, the 14 speaker Krell Audio Package adds luxurious sound to the RDX by using Krell designed Zylon mid-bass drivers, an amplifier with bipolar power transistors and metal speaker grills.

Advance Package (MSRP $60,450):

Finally, the top-of-the-line Advance Package for the 2014 Acura RLX features everything in the lower packages, plus ventilated front seats and additional safety features. The advanced technology in this package includes adaptive cruise control, which will automatically reduce your speed if the car in front of you slows down.

It also has a braking system that will first warn you—and then automatically stop the RDX if a collision is predicted, and a lane assist that will keep your RDX in the correct lane if you start to drift out of it. It also features auto-dimming side mirrors, heated rear seats and and parking sensors that, using audio cues, help you park your RDX.

Accessory 2014 RLX packages

Protection One

This $337 package adds sturdier all-season floor mats, a heavy-duty trunk protector and wheel locks. The ebony floor mats are made of easy-to-clean rubber and have the RLX logo molded in the driver and passenger mats. The trunk protector will keep the interior of your trunk clean, and the lug-nut locks will prevent theft.

Protection Two

This package swaps out the all-season floor mats for a set of splash guards for the front and rear wheels. If you often drive on dirt or sand-covered roads, the protectors will keep debris from damaging your car’s paint. The package also include a trunk tray and wheel locks at a MSRP of $372.

Convenience Package

The $256 convenience package includes wheel locks, a carpet trunk mat, cargo net, and first aid kit. The cargo net will keep your groceries in place, and the carpet trunk mat will protect the trunk upholstery from damage.
