Parks in Montgomery County

In total there are seven parks ranging in all shapes and sizes in Montgomery County including the Norristown Farm Park. Here, visitors can bike, jog, and walk their dogs. This small park is filled with a number of animals, that’s indigenous with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Trails in Montgomery County

Montgomery County is filled with walking and running trails. It features over 60 miles connecting greenways and waterways. Of these is the Chester Valley Trail that stretches between Bridgeport and Downingtown.  In the county there’s currently one mile to walk on for a quick workout, but you do have the option of walking farther into other areas. There’s also the Pennypack Trail that is 2.4 miles, and the Perkiomen Trail that spans about 20 miles.

Historical Sites in Montgomery Country

The history of Montgomery County is abundant and famous for those in the Philadelphia, Lansdale, and Doylestown area. Through the county, there is a great deal of historical sites that both residents and visitors can see. These include the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove. This was the first home of the widely known author, naturalist, and artist John James Audubon. There’s also the Peter Wentz Farm Stand and the Pennypacker Mills that provide hands on activities and exhibits to help kids and even adults learn about the history of this county. The area of Montgomery County isn’t just famous Montgomeryville Acura. It is home a ton of great activities the community and visitors form Philadelphia, Doylestown, and Lansdale can take part in.
